About the Event

Singapore’s retail and e-commerce market is driven by a digitally savvy, high-income population and strong infrastructure. While physical retail remains important—especially for experiential shopping—online channels continue to gain share, accounting for around 15–17% of total retail sales during peak periods. Retailers are increasingly adopting omnichannel strategies that integrate online convenience with in-store experiences.

Singapore’s e-commerce revenue is projected to grow from about SGD 23–24 billion in 2024 to roughly SGD 33 billion by 2028, representing an estimated 8–9% CAGR. Growth is supported by high smartphone penetration, widespread digital payment usage, efficient logistics, and rising cross-border and mobile commerce adoption.
