You Walk In
Oracle rebuilt Java licensing around headcount, not usage. AI rebuilt the economics of compute around consumption at a scale most enterprises never planned for. Put those two shifts together and you get a boardroom conversation most executive teams have not had yet, at least not with real numbers on the table.
We put it all in one place. “The Java Question Nobody on Your Board Is Asking” is a field guide for CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, CPOs and CTOs navigating Oracle Java in the age of AI. It is the companion piece to this roundtable, and every registered delegate receives a copy ahead of the event.

03 — The Context
Three Pressures,
One Conversation
The Philippines technology leadership community is at a critical inflection point heading into 2027. Most enterprise IT leaders have completed, or are close to completing, their cloud migration. What this roundtable puts on the table is the part that migration doesn't fix, and the three priorities defining the Philippines CXO agenda through 2027.
Regulatory readiness. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Technology Risk Management Circular requires a complete, current technology asset inventory, and most Philippine banks are still building toward that maturity, alongside SEC governance expectations and client-driven audit requirements in the BPO sector.
AI-driven IT modernization. The conversation is shifting from cloud migration, largely complete in the enterprise sector, to Java modernization and AI-era infrastructure governance.
Portfolio rationalization. Philippine enterprises are running some of the most fragmented software estates in APAC, with significant Oracle Java exposure built up during the 2010s digital expansion.
